In order to help foreigners living in Tokushima have a richer daily life, and to provide information about international exchanges to Tokushima residents, TIA offers an Exchange Lounge, which includes:

●　a billboard for messages and announcements

●　newspapers, magazines and other publications for perusal

●　a library for the perusal or borrowing of items

●　free wifi

●　cable television (CNN etc) or DVD viewing

Consultation Service

New TIA Multilingual Life Consultation Service
TIA has begun a counselling service to aid Tokushima’s foreign residents in the struggles that come with living abroad. TIA hopes to assist with questions about reading documents,visiting medical facilities, and other issues of daily life in Japan. The office staff will be using a translation device to assist in multilingual communication. All consultations will remain confidential.

Message Billboard

Our billboard can be used for many things, from public information notices or announcements about events in or out of Tokushima prefecture, to private announcements and notices. Anything can be put up: car for sale/wanted or items for sale notices, flyers for language course or seminars, tutor wanted requests, and more. Please contact the office if you wish to put up a notice or an announcement, and drop by the Exchange Lounge to read what's already there.

Libary: Borrowing and Perusing

You may read or borrow the publications in the Exchange Lounge or the office library (which includes picture books, novels, textbooks, essays, travel guides, cookbooks and books about hobbies and international matters). The library also has magazines with restaurant coupons and other material related to places in Tokushima prefecture. Feel free to drop by and have a look.
